Harpsichord
As an ensemble player, Ben enjoys the freedom that comes with continuo playing; much like the organ, the harpsichord allows him to utilise his keyboard proficiency in an ensemble context, and he has played in and conducted various baroque orchestras for concerts and operas with other Cambridge students. He also enjoys performing a wide range of solo repertoire and has learnt alongside the foremost harpsichord specialists in the UK.
Piano
Ben began playing the piano at the age of five, and has particularly enjoyed his role as an accompanist to some of the strongest voices in Cambridge, which has greatly expanded his knowledge of repertoire.
