Harpsichord
As an ensemble player, Ben enjoys the freedom that comes with continuo playing; much like the organ, the harpsichord allows him to utilise his keyboard proficiency in an ensemble context, and he has played in and conducted various baroque orchestras for concerts and operas with other Cambridge students. He has learnt alongside the foremost harpsichord specialists in the UK.

Piano
Ben began playing the piano at the age of five, and his keyboard proficiency has helped him in many roles for productions and concerts. He has particularly enjoyed gaining experience as an accompanist to some of the strongest voices in Cambridge, playing repertoire from many different periods. He has also performed chamber works composed by contemporary students and academics in Cambridge.
Musical Director
Currently, Ben is working with the Canal Café Theatre in Marylebone as Musical Director of their politically satirical sketch comedy show, NewsRevue. He has had much experience directing and assistant directing a wide variety of shows in Cambridge, including the university's opera society's production of Strauss II's Die Fledermaus and an independent productions of Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and Britten's Curlew River.
